The Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup

For the last five years, the Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup has been a province-wide movement to eliminate marine debris on the shorelines of the Bay of Fundy, home to the highest tides in the world.

We need your help!

The Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup has always been about coming together as New Brunswickers to protect our coastal ecosystems and the wildlife that calls the shorelines home. But coastal ecosystems are not the only ones being suffocated by garbage. This year, we are asking you to grab your friends and family “bubble” and cleanup a shoreline, beach, park, or your own neighbourhood, because everything leads back to the ocean!

While we may be apart combatting marine debris, we all are together in motivation to restore ecosystems for plants, wildlife, and future generations.

When you do a cleanup between Friday, August 20, 2021 and Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 your bubble could win a Passport to Nature sustainable prize pack! To enter our draw:

  • Take a photo of your group with the debris you collected;
  • Post it on Facebook or Instagram;
  • Tag the Nature Trust (@NatureTrustNB) on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and use the hashtag #PassporttoNatureNB.

The winners will be chosen by draw during the week of August 23rd and will be announced on Facebook.

The success of the Great Fundy Coastal Cleanup in the past would not have been possible without the hard-work and dedication from so many incredible volunteers, and the Nature Trust is here to support your cleanup efforts once again.
