Le Fonds d’action à la ferme pour le climat (FAFC) offre du soutien financier aux producteur·rice·s qui souhaitent adopter des pratiques de gestion bénéfiques (PGB) s’appliquant au pâturage en rotation. Or, pourquoi le FAFC a-t-il décidé de soutenir ces pratiques en particulier? En assistant à ce webinaire gratuit, vous aurez l’occasion d’en apprendre davantage sur les aspects scientifiques et les avantages du pâturage en rotation. De plus, un panel d’expert·e·s répondra à vos questions et vous fournira des conseils que vous pourrez mettre en pratique.

Ce panel sera composé de Tim Wray (éleveur de l’Alberta), de Katrina McQuail (éleveuse de l’Ontario), d’Edward Bork (directeur du Rangeland Research Institute à l’Université de l’Alberta) et de John Duynisveld (chercheur en biologie bovine pour Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada basé en Nouvelle-Écosse). The study evaluated the technical, locational, and economic potential for offshore wind development in Atlantic Canada, including optimal wind resource areas, energy yield estimates, and cost implications. It also projects offshore wind development trajectories toward 2035 and 2050, aligning resource potential with emerging market drivers.

The webinar will provide a high-level summary of the study’s methodology, geospatial analysis, wind energy modeling, cost estimates, long-term planning, and actionable next steps for enabling offshore wind development in the region.
