Does your initiative support regional social ecosystem building or intersectoral network building for CED?

CCEDNet is inviting project proposals to implement regional systems building projects, focused on supporting community economic development (CED) and social innovation.

In order to keep this call moving forward (launched Feb. 28), we have decided to end the rolling call process and put in place a deadline for April 16.
Amount & Rollout:

Amount: Projects can access a $5,000 to $80,000 grant to support their initiative.
Rollout: Proposals are accepted until April 16, midnight PDT. Funded portion of projects must be completed by March 2024.
Regional: project scope can be provincial/territorial, sub-provincial (e.g. Northern Ontario), or pan-provincial/territorial (e.g. Northern Canada).
Regions: Projects in any Canadian province or territory outside of Manitoba or Alberta (where initiatives are underway) may apply.

Cocagne – The Groupe de développement durable du Pays de Cocagne (GDDPC) in
collaboration with the Communauté rurale de Beausoleil invites you to a community
clean-up on Saturday April 22, 2023 between 9 am and 12pm.

 

The event held on April 22nd 2023 will consist of a march from the Bathurst waterfront to the Coronation Park Gazebo where speeches will be given as the event comes to a close. Individuals are encoraged to bring water to stayh hydrated as well as to bring signs and banners to make their voices heard as they participate in this year's march.
