BioBlitz des Espèces Envahissantes de la CEENB 2023!

Vous êtes invités à participer au premier BioBlitz des espèces envahissantes de la CEENB!
 
Du 17 au 24 septembre, observez des plantes envahissantes, des insectes, des animaux sauvages ou des signes de maladie dans votre région et envoyez une photo ou une vidéo au projet iNaturalist "NBISC Invasive Species BioBlitz 2023". Il s'agit non seulement d'une excellente façon d'explorer votre jardin et les zones naturelles locales, mais vos observations aideront la CEENB et ses partenaires à suivre la propagation de diverses espèces envahissantes et à améliorer notre capacité à les gérer.

Open Farm Day - Pizza and Music!

On this day botanical fusions abound! The taste of fresh sourdough homemade pizzas (made by Rebekah @hearthandhive),topped with homemade Sauces , fresh veggies from the gardens and then baked in an outdoor wood oven! Fresh greens on the side and a taste of a sweet dessert!

Join the Saint John Naturalists’ Club for an unforgettable opportunity to visit the Greenlaw Mountain Hawk Watch to learn about raptor identification and participate in the count!

Engaging with the Clean Electricity Regulation

The Conservation Council of New Brunswick and the Ecology Action Centre are teaming up to co-host a webinar on Engaging with the Clean Electricity Regulation on Sept 21st 2023 from noon-1 PM Atlantic. This webinar will dig into the CER and look specifically at the context for Atlantic Canada with the goal of supporting organizations and individuals in Atlantic Canada who want to make submissions to ensure a strong and robust CER. The submission window is open and closes November 2nd, and we are hoping to emphasize getting some of the key loopholes which will allow for emissions on the grid past 2035 eliminated.
