Coffeehouse: Sierra Club Atlantic- Watch for Wildlife Program
Watch for Wildlife is a wildlife-vehicle collision prevention program of Sierra Club Canada's Atlantic Chapter. Their focus is on outreach in order to educate Atlantic Canadians on methods to prevent and respond to wildlife vehicle collisions. Their objective is simple: To reduce injury and mortality of wildlife and people on our roads, and to encourage the implementation of wildlife-friendly road design and vehicle-collision mitigation measures.
Their points of discussion will be introducing Watch for Wildlife and its goals as a project and sharing information on how to get involved in citizen science data collection through their iNaturalist project.
