Microplastics with Shauna Sands - ACAP SJ

This month’s webinar will feature guest speaker Shauna Sands, the Conservation Coordinator at ACAP Saint John. It will take place via Zoom at 10AM on January 21, 2023.

How much plastic is in the ocean? How does single-use-plastic impact our environment? What research is currently being done in the Maritimes on microplastics? This presentation will include information on what microplastics are, current microplastics research that is being conducted right here in Saint John, and how we incorporated citizen science into our research.
