October 1, 2024 is the United Nations International Day of Older Persons. To celebrate, Seniors for Climate is hosting events across Canada focused on climate change and seniors. This webinar, hosted by the New Brunswick Environment Network and the Stepping Stone Senior Centre is open to anyone concerned about climate change and the risks it poses to our elders and the most vulnerable.

Come learn more about the program, ask questions, and meet the provincial cohort leads and supports. French interpretation will be provided during the session. 

The first English cohort begins in January 2025. Registration closes on December 13th, 2024. Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador cohorts are full. Register to add your name to the waitlist, or select September 2025 for the English and French intake (Spaces are still available in NB and PEI).

Ticks have been with us in New Brunswick for a very long time but have not been a human problem. That has changed dramatically in recent years as the one species that is the number one vector of arthropod-carrying disease organisms in the US is very rapidly moving into Canada. This species is the Black-legged Tick, which has become a major health concern in NS and is now expanding its range into NB.
