NBEN Awards

Every day, people and environmental groups take action to protect and restore New Brunswick’s environment. Over the past year, who stands out in your mind? To nominate someone for an NBEN award, send us an email describing their work. Nominees must be members or associates of the NBEN, and cannot include current Steering Committee members.

The deadline for nominations is Monday, December 5th and the awards will be handed out during the NBEN’s Eco-Confluence event on December 15th.

	Zephyr Recipients For those who have dedicated their efforts to the air and the species that inhabit the air.
	Gaia Recipients For those who have dedicated their efforts to the earth and the species that inhabit the earth.
	Samaqan Recipients For those who have dedicated their efforts to the waters and the species that inhabit the waters.
	Phoenix Recipients For those who have dedicated their efforts to policies and legislation and have been through "the fire".

About the NBEN Awards

The NBEN Awards were established in 1998 recognize significant contributions by citizens and citizen groups toward the protection and restoration of New Brunswick’s environment. Nominations for the awards are made by NBEN member groups and final prizes are awarded by the NBEN Steering Committee. The Awards are presented during the NBEN Annual General Assembly. NBEN member groups and members of NBEN member groups are eligible for an award.
