New Year, New Skills: Two Loops of Systems Change

New Year, New Skills: Two Loops of Systems Change

Working through the tensions between the actions we need to take to address climate change and our usual work habits, lifestyles, and cultural norms can be challenging. In this workshop, Taylor Stimpson from the Academy for Sustainable Innovation will introduce you to an adapted “Two Loops of Systems Change” model developed by Margaret Wheatley and Deborah Frieze from the Berkana Institute. This model helps us understand and facilitate systems transformation by identifying inevitable sources of tension and appreciating the various roles necessary for maintaining old systems and/or facilitating change.

Interpretation will be available.
