And it's about time they did their fair share, since for every dollar of inflation over two years in Canada, 25 cents of what YOU paid in inflation went to oil and gas and mining extraction profits.
Join us for an informal meeting in Fredericton and bring your friends! Share your concerns about climate change and its impacts, such as wildfires, loss of biodiversity, and hurricanes and let's pave the way for impactful environmental actions in Canada.

Join the Antioch University for this very timely colloquium with Dr. José Ramos-Horta, the first part of a four-part series on Environmental Justice and Democracy. Dr. Ramos-Horta serves as the current president of the Southeast Asian country of Timor-Leste and is a 1984 graduate of Antioch University’s MA in Peace Studies. Ramos-Horta won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1996 and returned to his home country in 1999 after 20 years of exile during the Indonesian military occupation. He served as Timor-Leste’s second president from 2007-2012.

We look forward to focusing our discussions on priority areas outlined at the 2023 Forum to take concrete, coordinated, and measurable actions for a healthy and sustainable Atlantic Ocean.
