Meduxnekeag River Association Inc.

More than 350 hectares of ecologically significant property in the Medxuenekeag watershed, has purchased and protected in perpetuity, much of it mature Appalachian Hardwood Forest. The Preserve is used extensively by researchers from across the region and this has resulted in the identification of a completely new species of wasp and one species of beetle. The sites contain numerous rare and endangered species not found elsewhere in the province, or region. Additional information.
