Description: Help us celebrate our Together for 100 milestone and reflect on all the work that has gotten us here! This celebration will be hosted at our 100th nature preserve, recently named the Warbler Woods Nature Preserve, and will feature a guided walk through the property with land donors Tony and Dorothy Diamond.

Tucked between Stanley and Fredericton and located on the unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, the Warbler Woods Nature Preserve consists of 20-hectares (50-acres) of mixedwood forest and plays an important role in the Upper Nashwaak landscape. The land is embellished with vernal pools and shaded by tolerant hardwoods, giving it a rich range of microhabitats supporting species at risk like the hoary bat (Lasiurus cinereus), Eastern wood-pewee (Contopus virens), and common nighthawk (Chordeiles minor).

What to bring:

• Weather-appropriate clothing, including closed-toed shoes suitable for light hiking
• Sunscreen and bug spray
• Water and snacks

What to expect:

• Networking with fellow nature enthusiasts
• Light refreshments and wine samples, courtesy of Ducks Crossing Wine

Please note: Nature Trust preserves are natural, undeveloped properties, which means they can come with uneven terrain, slippery trails, and other hazards. Please come prepared with adequate footwear.
