Exploring the Beaches of Pointe-Sapin
Join Healthy Coasts NB partners including Nature NB’s Lauren Stead, Birds Canada’s Denise Maillet, Kouchibouguac National Park’s David Mazerolle, as well as Nature Conservancy of Canada’s Denise Roy and Jennifer White for a community webinar to learn about the coast of Pointe-Sapin and its surrounding area.
As a community, Pointe-Sapin has been taking positive action to care for its beaches and dunes. Healthy Coasts NB partners working in the area are interested in sharing ongoing work and in further engaging the community in a collaborative way to support nature, homes and livelihoods. Topics that will be discussed include climate change, erosion, endangered species like the Piping Plover, local action to protect the coast and much more. Come and learn about these important habitats and get involved in the Healthy Coasts NB project!
