Flax pull
The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group invites you to a flax pull.
When: Sunday August 13, 2023, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: At the end of Aldéric Rd in Grande-Digue, NB
This year, the GDDPC is growing flax for the 2nd year to make fabric and thread for the Cocagne Country Colors. It's all about relearning all the steps between flax and linen (sowing, pulling, retting, breaking, spinning and weaving).
We'll be pulling the flax. Please bring sun protection and a chair if you need it. There will be a BBQ.
