IPCAs play a key role in mitigating climate change and biodiversity loss. They also help to ensure that Indigenous knowledge, values, and traditions are passed on to younger generations. This session will feature panelists from three Indigenous-led organizations who are working on protecting and conserving habitats and culturally significant sites in Mi'kma'ki.
