Climate disruption, ecological degradation, overpopulation and conspicuous consumption have created a perfect storm that if left unchecked will result in societal and ecological breakdown. As systems break down, opportunities for creative long-term change begin to emerge. These breakthroughs can lead us toward new ways of governing and new models of economy. The future of humanity and earth’s biophysical systems depend on finding and implementing breakthroughs that are socially just and ecologically regenerative.
