Set up as a “Lunch and Learn” with webinars offered over the lunch hour between 12PM and 1PM, each webinar features one funding program offered either by the federal government, provincial government, or another funding organisation.
Climate disruption, ecological degradation, overpopulation and conspicuous consumption have created a perfect storm that if left unchecked will result in societal and ecological breakdown. As systems break down, opportunities for creative long-term change begin to emerge. These breakthroughs can lead us toward new ways of governing and new models of economy. The future of humanity and earth’s biophysical systems depend on finding and implementing breakthroughs that are socially just and ecologically regenerative. These dialogues are intended to open up conversations for change in Atlantic Canada.
The Fresh AIR program is a collaboration between the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture and the New Brunswick Arts Board (artsnb). The 2021 edition of this program will allow each of the ten professional artists selected to spend five days in provincial parks and tourism sites during the summer. These residencies will allow artists to develop their practice and engage with the public in a natural setting during the challenging reality of COVID-19.
The Falls Brook Centre Community Clean Up Challenge is almost here! We've invited watershed organizations around NB to compete in a fun competition to see who can pick up the most trash!
