Annual Volunteer Redd Surveys

By Nashwaak Watershed Association Inc.

Mark your calendars, our annual redd survey is coming up in the next couple weeks! Come out to wade through the Nashwaak River or one of its tributaries, surveying the riverbed for salmon redds (patches of gravel where salmon lay their eggs).

This year there will be our usual Saturday volunteer event, as well as several small group surveys during the weekday to survey further up in the watershed. Sign up using the eventbrite link, or scan the QR code in the second picture email [email protected] if you have any questions before registration!
