Invitation to a community activity against shoreline erosion to stabilize the Bouctouche riverbank

By Valorēs
We love going for a stroll along the Dr. Paul-Émile-Lebland boardwalk in Grand-Bouctouche. Situated along the riverbank between the Acadie St. and Rte 11 bridges, the boardwalk has been home since 2025 to a system to slow down erosion using nature-based materials and techniques.
Join us on September 4 for a community activity and informational workshop to better understand this initiative. Together, we will install fencing made of branches to help trap sediments. Our team will also be leading a guided visit of the site to discuss the different initiatives being used to slow down erosion in Grand-Bouctouche.
