Women & their Woods Guided Winter Hike: Tree and Wildlife ID

By Nashwaak Watershed Association

Overview

Join us for an educational winter hike in the Nashwaak Watershed!
At this second meeting of our new "Women & their Woods" group, meet other women who own property, big or small. Join us for a guided snowshoe hike through the Nature Trust of New Brunswick's Leaning Cedar Nature Preserve in Nashwaak Bridge. We will explore the preserve while looking out for wildlife tracks, scat, and tree species to identify.

We will access the nature preserve from the Nashwaak W. Rd in Nashwaak Bridge, NB. The location does not have a civic address, but NWAI staff will be waiting on the side of the road by the preserve. We will show you where to park. Click here to see the meeting location on google maps.

Light refreshments will be provided. Dress appropriately for the weather with warm layers, mitts or gloves, a tuque, and snowshoes. We have a limited quantity of snowshoes available to borrow. If you would like to reserve a pair or have questions, please contact Rebecca Jones, the NWAI Regional Forest Technician, at (506) 259-9344 or [email protected].
