Living Shorelines : Natural Protection for Winter November 5, 2025

The Pays de Cocagne Sustainable Development Group (GDDPC) and the Beausoleil Rural Community invite you to participate in protecting the natural infrastructure built along the shoreline at the Cocagne Marina and the Notre Centre in Grande-Digue.

The Helping Nature Heal team will guide participants through the installation of structures to protect the nfacilities for the winter. We will add some coastal plants and straw/hay. This is an ideal opportunity to deepen your knowledge of the Living Shorelines approach. The work will take place outdoors at the following locations :

• Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cocagne Marina, located at 130 Marina Street, Cocagne, NB, E4R 2T1
• Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Notre Centre in Grande-Digue, located at 468 Route 530, Grande-Digue, NB, E4R 5K3.

Please bring:

• Your lunch - snacks will be available on site
• A water bottle – there will be a water station on site
• Appropriate and additional clothing, in preparation for the weather and outdoor work.
