Science Day is an annual event hosted by the Miramichi Salmon Association and the Miramichi Watershed Management Committee. The theme of our 2022 Science Day is Salmon Conservation in a Changing Climate. Hear about the innovative work being done by various organizations throughout Atlantic Canada, including the University of New Brunswick, Canada Rivers Institute, Parks Canada, Ducks Unlimited, Department of Natural Resources, and more! This year's Science Day will take place from 10am until 3pm AST in Fredericton and online via ZOOM.

Be a part of the fun as hundreds of eager Saint John residents come out to help clean our beautiful streams and wetlands for the health and well-being of humans and wildlife alike. This year, the headquarters for this event will be held at The Irving Oil Field House.

This year, Clean Air Day has an important focus on the intersections between air quality, climate action and human health. National and international days are a powerful advocacy tool to educate the general public and mobilize political will and resources to address global problems. This is a time to celebrate achievement and resolve to do better.

Let's transform pavement into green space!

Last year we removed over 100m2 of unused pavement and now we will be planting the site with native flowers and shrubs.

Help us complete our depaving project at Seaside Park on Saturday, June 11th.
