Birding at the Rez with Hank Scarth

Join Saint John Naturalists Club on May 3 from 8:00–11:00 AM for a guided birding walk at The Rez with Hank Scarth.

The Little River Reservoir Trail offers a variety of habitats, attracting an exciting mix of breeding birds. We’ll explore the area in search of waterfowl, warblers, thrushes, and more. The route follows a level, compacted gravel road with a few short detours into the woods, making it an easy walk for all. Total distance: 3.5 km.

Meeting Point: Little River Reservoir parking lot, Loch Lomond Road

What to Bring:

•     Water

•     Sunscreen and insect spray

•     Binoculars and/or camera (loaner binoculars available)

•     Field guide

•     Layered clothing

Cost: Free, with an optional donation to support our club’s programs.
