Spring Tune-Up: A Capacity Building Workshop Series for ENGOs

Next Up:

An Introduction to Effective Facilitation, Consensus Decision-Making, and Conflict Resolution
May 18th, 12-2 pm, Online
with Tim Leblanc Murphy, Executive Director
New Brunswick Environmental Network

Are you looking for tips on how to make sure your meeting stays on time and on topic? For keeping everyone engaged? For being more inclusive and making sure all points of view are given equal weight? Are you looking to make decisions by consensus, yet unsure what that means and how to achieve it? Do you sense underlying conflict preventing your group from truly gelling and rallying around big decisions?

If so, join us for this bilingual workshop on effective facilitation, consensus decision making, and conflict resolution. Tim Leblanc Murphy, Executive Director of the NBEN, will draw on his experience in Deep Democracy, Art of Hosting, and Anti-Oppression Training to help participants assemble a toolkit for leading better meetings.

If you have responsibilities for chairing meetings or leading groups, then this workshop is for you.

Other workshops in the series:

May 4th (EN) and 5th (FR) - Employment Standards Act 101

June 2nd (EN) - The Ins and Out of Charitable Status
