Fresh Air program: Angela Beek at Mactaquac Provincial Park

Mactaquac Provincial Park

The Fresh AIR program is a collaboration between the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture and the New Brunswick Arts Board (artsnb). The 2021 edition of this program will allow each of the ten professional artists selected to spend five days in provincial parks and tourism sites during the summer. These residencies will allow artists to develop their practice and engage with the public in a natural setting during the challenging reality of COVID-19.

Introduction to the ARC-100 Advanced Small Modular Reactor

The Canadian Nuclear Society New Brunswick Branch invites you to participate in a virtual presentation, Introduction to the ARC-100 Advanced Small Modular Reactor. The presentation will include an introduction to a number of topics, including reactor and site layout, the ARC fuel cycle, safety of the ARC-100, technical and licensing issues, and costs. Registration is free but required.

Ceremony for the Indigenous children found in Saskatchewan

The Wolastoq Grand Council and Wolastoq Grandmothers invite all to a ceremony at Old Burial Grounds tonight, June 24 2021 at 6:30pm for the hundreds of Indigenous children bodies found in Saskatchewan at the former Marieval Indian Residential School.
 
The old burial ground is located between the Delta and the Lieutenant Governors House on Woodstock Road.
