Fredericton Community Climate Hub Launch

The Fredericton Community Climate Hub, which will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The event will be held in Room 18 of MacLaggan Hall on the UNB Fredericton Campus.

Key topics, including:

1. Creating a working group of organizations at the intersection of climate change and social justice, to collaboratively design a community plan centered around equity, environment, and justice.
2. Providing educational opportunities to facilitators engaging with communities about climate change, introducing them to systems perspectives, community building, and mutual aid.
3. Identifying local citizens who can form a hub and collaboratively drive citizen engagement and participation in local climate action and resilience efforts.
