Soap Stone Carving with Charles Clark

Join us for this exciting 2 full days workshop where you will carve your own sculpture from a 10lb piece of beautiful soapstone.

The stone can be worked by almost anyone, so experience is not necessary. The learner will start out with stone, a file set, sandpaper, and a saw. This can and will make an interesting and relaxing hobby, and you will enjoy making pieces that will last for generations to come.

The workshop starts at 9am and will include a 1 hour lunch break. Expect approximately 7 hours of total workshop time and to be finished around 5pm, each day.
