Calling all birders — experienced and not! Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada as we survey the Baie Verte wetlands for fall waterfowl!

Join NCC as we survey the Baie Verte area around NCC’s 224-acre nature reserve for fall waterfowl numbers. This is the second year of our biennial waterfowl survey in Baie Verte. The event will serve as a waterfowl survey training day to bring the group together and help to coordinate a weekly survey effort led by the Chignecto Naturalists' Club lasting up to eight weeks. Volunteers will go out in groups to identify and count the waterfowl they see along the wetlands and shorelines.
