We’re pleased to present Climate Change in Atlantic Canada. This impressive multi-media project showcases short documentary videos (produced with Dr. Ian Mauro) and lesson plans that can be used in middle and high school classrooms. Students will learn about climate change from experts and locals with decades of first-hand experience, such as beekeepers, farmers, snowplow drivers, fishers, gardeners, and First Nations elders.
There are eight videos in the Climate Change in Atlantic Canada series. The lesson plans are designed to foster environmental awareness and scientific literacy among students. Learn more about the project here: http://www.fundy-biosphere.ca/en/projects-and-initiatives/education.html.
