Coastal Action’s Interactive Flood Map Webinar for ENGOs

Coastal Action’s Climate Change team has been working with Barry Stevens of 3D Wave Design to develop an interactive flood map for the Town of Mahone Bay, highlighting the town’s new Living Shoreline project. Join us online for a demonstration of the map and learn about its application to coastal communities.

This publicly-accessible flood map is designed to promote coastal adaptation and management practices, by visualizing coastal flooding and storm surge events, with embedded emergency and planning resources. This map will be available for use on the computer, smartphone or tablet.

We hope to share this tool widely across Nova Scotia to help promote climate adaptation practices across coastal communities.
