"Put a Cap on It" with Sierra Club Canada

Have the feeling individual Canadians aren't at fault for Canada missing emissions targets? You're right, so let's “Put a Cap on It” together!
Wildfires now 'explode' on a regular basis, meanwhile oil & gas companies' huge profits & pollution hurt your wallet and our climate. Please join us in Fredericton and also help us promote this event!
Speakers include:
- Moe Qureshi, Conservation Council of New Brunswick.
- Gretchen Fitzgerald, Sierra Club Canada Foundation.
A free dinner of pizza to be provided, because oil and gas CEOs don’t deserve a free meal, but you do.
- Date: July 31st.
- Venue: Charlotte Street Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte St.
- Time: 6 pm.
We're at a pivotal moment in our fight against climate change, and your voice is more crucial than ever! As a community, we have the power to “Put a Cap on It” and hold wealthy oil and gas companies accountable and make them do their fair share to cut emissions as Canada's most polluting sector. And it's about time they did their fair share, since for every dollar of inflation over two years in Canada, 25 cents of what YOU paid in inflation went to oil and gas and mining extraction profits.
Join us for an informal meeting in Fredericton and bring your friends! Share your concerns about climate change and its impacts, such as wildfires, loss of biodiversity, and hurricanes and let's pave the way for impactful environmental actions in Canada.
