Description: The Nature Trust is excited to announce a series of workshops aimed at nurturing and expanding our network of passionate stewards. At this workshop, we will give all the tools and techniques essential for effective stewardship!

Training on:

  • Field Safety
  • Monitoring using Landscape Conservation Software
  • Trail Maintenance
  • Boundary Monitoring

What to Expect:

  • Hands-on learning opportunities
  • Insights from seasoned experts
  • Networking with fellow nature enthusiasts
  • Opportunities to engage in meaningful stewardship activities

What to Bring:

  • Cellphone with free Landscape app downloaded
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and hiking shoes/comfortable footwear
  • Daypack
  • Lunch, snacks, and water
  • Sunscreen and bugspray
  • Optional: loppers, saws, drills

 

*Please note: the terrain at our nature preserves is often uneven and we may be working in areas that are off-trail and un-maintained.
