Discover spring flowers in the forest with Jim Clifford. Participants will travel by car up the South East to enjoy the flora and fauna. Some walking through the forest edges will be required.

Paddle down the Wolastoq and Nashwaak River via Voyageur Canoe with Second Nature Outdoors. Their experienced guides will point out the amazing gems the river has to offer. There will also be an opportunity to observe birds and plants on the short walk back along the trail to the launch point. This event will be cancelled in case of a thunderstorm.

Birds love this yard in Tide Head, especially the rare ones. Experienced birders will be on hand to help with identification. No experience is required, just come and keep your eyes and ears open. Entry will be kept to small groups.

Grassroots NB acknowledges the land on which we will gather is the traditional unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq Peoples.
Beginning at Moncton's City Hall, we will walk to the Cathedral (226 St. George St). There, we will leave stuffed animals and little shoes on the Cathedral steps to remember the hundreds and hundreds of lost lives of children at the hands of Canada's Residential Schools.

CPAWS NB is looking for Wilderness Ambassadors, ages 18-30, to join us on a wilderness trip to the beautiful Bay of Fundy, St. Andrews region (August 21, 22, 2021), for whale watching and sea-kayaking, as well as take part in local conservation volunteer work and a Youth Summit trip (location TBD) - all expenses paid! Deadline to apply is June 30th!

On Sunday July 18th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the public is invited to visit six beautiful private gardens (flowers, vegetables, shrubs) situated between Barachois and Cap-Pelé. This free and fun family activity is an ideal occasion to admire striking garden arrangements and gain advice and tips from talented and passionate gardeners. In the gardens, there will also be a presentation of local talents (musicians, singers, etc.), medicinal plants, painters, hooking, etc.
