Frog Walks at Hyla Park
Thursday 04 July 2019 - 07:00am - Thursday 04 July 2019 08:00pm
Join us as we learn about the several amphibian species that reside within the Fredericton city limits. Frog walks allow the respectful study of amphibians and their habitats, while also allowing for the exploration of the wetlands and all other biodiversity found there. Bring your rubber boots and a sense of wonder as we learn why seven different frog/toad species call the Hyla Park Nature Preserve home.

*Due to the sensitivity of the amphibian species, we ask that participants who wish to handle the amphibians avoid wearing sunscreen or insect repellant.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Space is limited, so please register in advance by contacting our Engagement Assistant at

What to Bring:
- Rubber Boots;
- Water;
- Bug net (optional)
