Frog Walk Guide Training
Thursday 20 June 2019 - 07:00pm - Thursday 20 June 2019 09:00pm
We are looking for volunteers to lead Frog Walks at our beautiful Hyla Park Nature Preserve. Frog Walk Guides lead visitors of all ages through the protected wetland and teach them about the wildlife that call the preserve home. No previous nature interpretation skills are required, we’ll teach you how to lead nature walks and how to properly handle amphibians on the preserve.

*Due to the sensitivity of the amphibian species, we ask that participants who wish to handle the amphibians avoid wearing sunscreen or insect repellant.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Space is limited, so please register in advance by visiting:

What to Bring:
- Rubber boots or Hip Waders;
- Water;
- Bug net;
- Notebook and pen or pencil (optional).
