Workshop: Exploring a Green Economy Hub in Fredericton
Friday 14 June 2019 - 11:00am - Friday 14 June 2019 02:00pm

You are invited to a community workshop to explore the development of a Green Economy Hub in Fredericton.

What is a Green Economy Hub?  Green Economy Hubs support networks of local businesses to set and achieve sustainability targets. Hubs bring together, empower, and celebrate businesses as they achieve their goals. The model started in Ontario and is now being explored in New Brunswick.  Since 2008, seven Hubs in Ontario engaged over 265 businesses, and have collectively committed to reducing 102,874 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions!

The Green Economy Hubs model demonstrates that sustainability and profitability go hand-in-hand: businesses engaged in Hubs have seen financial benefits and a broader business case for taking action on sustainability.  We want to bring these economic and environmental benefits to New Brunswick!

Please join the New Brunswick Environmental Network and Green Economy Canada for an exploratory community workshop.
