Saturday 01 June 2019 - 09:00am - Saturday 01 June 2019 02:00pm

Calling all hikers and outdoor lovers! Celebrate National Trails Day by helping the Nature Conservancy of Canada maintain our beautiful coastal footpaths along the Musquash Estuary! This event is taking place at NCcs 4km loop Black Beach Trail, in NCCs Musquash Estuary Nature Reserve on June 1st.

You will help maintain our Black Beach hiking trail along the Musquash Estuary, the last fully functioning estuary in the Bay of Fundy! The Black Beach trail is a beautiful and rustic 4km loop trail, with great views of the Bay of Fundy and Musquash Estuary. Working together, we'll improve the state of the trail by conducting annual maintenance tasks, such as trimming branches, clearing paths, cleaning garbage and replacing trail markers.

Experience this biologically rich area, where the river meets the sea! The Black Beach trail starts off at a beautiful beach of black graphite sand, which is definitely worth a visit! The trail itself includes amazing views of the Musquash Estuary and the Bay of Fundy, and some wonderful forest scenery.
