Documentary Screening: Climate Change & the Human Prospect
Monday 10 September 2018 - 07:00pm - Monday 10 September 2018 09:00pm
Climate Change. It's the defining crisis of our time. The legacy of an industrialized world. As citizens of this Earth, we recognize and acknowledge it is a tragedy of our own making.

Armed with a conviction that local action is not only possible, but the BEST PATH FORWARD in dealing with this looming environmental threat, 24 global and regional Thinkers, representing all aspects of community life, recently gathered at the Thinker's Lodge in Pugwash, NS for intense, intentional conversation focused on actionable, locally-focused and forward-motion Climate Change plans.

This 40-minute film (followed by discussion) documents their perspectives while exploring global warming’s cascading impact on small, rural, and coastal communities, and--most importantly--what can be done about it. We cannot wait for politicians to act. Rural residents and communities must begin taking matters into their own hands.

FREE OF CHARGE, but donations will be gratefully accepted to offset costs.
