Towards Resilient Woodlots: Risk Assessment and Mitigation - Workshop #3 – Bathurst
By New Brunswick Federation of Woodlot Owners
Language: French This workshop will equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to adapt your forest management practices to climate-related risks.
The day will begin with a presentation during which we will explore critical risks that can disrupt forest ecosystems in a changing climate. In the afternoon, we will take a walk in a woodlot near the marketing board to conduct on-site case studies. We will assess various risks and discuss potential mitigation strategies.
A forester from the North Shore Forest Products Marketing Board will be guiding us through the workshop:
- Patrick Doucet – General Manager, Certified Forest Technician
Whether you are a woodlot owner or simply want to learn more, you are welcome!
