Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society - NB Chapter
Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – NB Chapter is catalyzing conversations with community leaders, researchers, fishers, tourism operators and governments at all levels to highlight the benefits of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) for the Bay of Fundy. MPAs, by minimizing human impacts, help conserve a robust and resilient ocean that supports our native biodiversity. Using StoryMaps, videos, photo displays, workshops and local awareness-raising, they are profiling the special biodiversity of the Bay that needs to be protected. They are working to make sure that our communities get involved and cooperate so MPAs will be created in an open way, and that they have strong objectives for ocean habitat protection. This project has been active since June 2017.
