This project is intended to improve our understanding of the occurrences, habitats, and conservation requirements of the White-rimmed Shingle-lichen, Fuscopannaria leucosticta, a potentially at-risk species occurring in old wet cedar woods in New Brunswick. The project will verify known occurrences of this lichen in New Brunswick, and in conjunction with a concurrent COSEWIC status assessment, develop a computer model predicting the occurrence of this lichen in N.B. on the basis of habitat and climatic variables. Additional information. The results of this study have been published and can be read here.

This project ran from March 2017 to October 2018.En Bi Col Tag jpg
