POSTER Conservation Standards Course

Healthy Coasts NB, in collaboration with Nature NB and the Nature Conservancy of Canada, is offering an introductory course on the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation. Sometimes known as Open Standards, or Conservation Standards, this approach provides a defined framework to better structure nature conservation projects. This course teaches you how to maximise the effectiveness of your actions and your limited resources. Participate in this course to learn about this robust system for project planning, management, and monitoring that is being applied by conservation communities around the world.

The course consists of a series of 5 workshops presented virtually, with a discussion period after each presentation. The workshops are presented in French with simultaneous translation available in English.

Attendance is free but spots are limited, so register now to avoid disappointment. This series is structured so that participants attend all five sessions, as each session builds upon the previous one.

The workshops take place from 14:00 to 15:30 (Atlantic time) on:
  • January 28th
  • February 2nd
  • February 4th
  • February 9th
