Protected Natural Areas, Public Consultation, October 2012

The Province of New Brunswick is increasing the amount of Protected Natural Areas on Crown Land to 272,600 ha (2726 km2). The new proposed sites will be designated in regulation later in 2014. See where existing and candidate Protected Natural Areas are located.

Amendments are being made to the Establishment of Protected Natural Areas Regulation under the Protected Natural Areas Act (7), (6), (5), (4), (3), (2), and (1). More information here.
